YouTube to MP3 on Mac

Safari or Chrome, thirty seconds, then Finder and the Music app take over. The Mac workflow is the smoothest of all: drag, drop, done.

Convert

1. Copy the YouTube link (address bar or Share, Copy link).
2. Open our converter in Safari or Chrome, paste, Convert, Download.
3. The MP3 lands in Downloads (Finder sidebar). In Safari, the toolbar download icon reveals it.

Import to Music

Drag the MP3 into the Music app window, or File, Import. It joins your library and syncs to iPhone/iPad if syncing is on.

Mac tips

• Spotlight: Cmd+Space, type the song name, instant find.
• Quick Look: select the file, press Space to preview.
• Automator: build a folder action that auto-tags downloads if you convert often.
