YouTube to MP3 on Android

Chrome does it all: convert on this site, grab the MP3 from Downloads, play it in any music app. Three steps, no app install.

Step 1: Copy the link

In the YouTube app, tap Share, then Copy link.

Step 2: Convert in Chrome

Open Chrome, go to our converter, paste the link, tap Convert, then Download. Chrome saves to the Downloads folder and shows a notification.

Step 3: Find and play

Open the Files app (or My Files on Samsung), go to Downloads. Tap the MP3 to play it, or open it in your preferred music player.

Android tips

• Home-screen shortcut. Chrome menu, Add to Home screen: the converter behaves like an app.
• SD card. Move MP3s to the SD card in Files to free internal storage.
• Notification controls. The download notification lets you open the file the moment it lands.
