YouTube to MP3 on Chromebook

Chromebooks are built for exactly this: everything in the browser. Convert on the site, find the file in the Files app, play it in the built-in player.

Convert

1. Copy the YouTube link from the address bar.
2. Open our converter in Chrome, paste, Convert, Download.
3. Open the Files app (launcher, Files), go to Downloads.

Chromebook tips

• Built-in player: double-click the MP3; ChromeOS plays it without extra apps.
• Google Drive: drag MP3s to Google Drive in the Files app for cloud backup.
• Linux apps: if you have Linux enabled, VLC and other players install from the terminal.
• Storage: many Chromebooks have small drives; move finished MP3s to Drive or a USB stick.
